Black Americana string holder in the form of a childs head with a baseball cap. This bisque string holder features a young black boy with piercing eyes and full red lips and black hair. His cap is removable to place the string inside, there is a hole to the right side of his lips where the string comes thru. There are no visable makers’ marks but the underside of the cap has an orange “70” and the bottom inside of the head has a “50”. This may be German made and may have originally been a humidor. 8″h to top of cap, 5.5″w from ear to ear and 5.5 deep. He is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or fractures.
