BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD MODERNIST VINTAGE OCTAGON SHAPED CIGAR HUMIDOR WithALUM SLEEVE

BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD VINTAGE MODERNIST OCTAGON SHAPED CIGAR HUMIDOR, W/HINGED LID, ALUMINUM SLEEVE & GREEN FELT. 6 1/2″ in Height x 5 1/2″ in Width. Just two very minor’touches’ to two of the corners of this vintage hexagon shaped Brazilian rosewood tobacco humidor. The interior aluminum sleeve and green felt sill are both in superb condition. The exterior rosewood surfaces are in otherwise nearly unblemished condition, with nearly no abrasions or scuffs. The rosewood veneer itself is outstanding, with 3-dimensional figuration and incredible complexity and depth. These rosewood veneer panels were hand-chosen to decorate this box and for good reason. They have ebony veining and hints of chestnut, amber, honey and chocolate colors. The hinged lid opens and closes freely and snaps back tightly into the closed position. It also hovers in the open position and can rest suspended in nearly any open position. The brushed aluminum interior sleeve with green felt lining is in superb condition. The lid features a thin, routered band that echoes the form of the lid. There is a white inlaid round dot decorating the top, center of the lid. The front lower panel features a black Great surfaces and tremendous color. Solid and still sturdy. Good to Very Good overall vintage condition. Unusual Vintage cigar humidor circa 1960’s. Made of beautiful walnut and generally in good condition with key to lock. Book fronts have visible scuffs as seen in photo. One or two marks on outside which with a little TLC would create a beautiful humidor. Interior has humidifier block. There is an interior stain near key in photo This item has not been used for many years so will need re-humidifying. Measures 12″ long x 8.5″ wide x 7.75 deep. Weights 6lb 8 0z. Vintage handmade wood brass steel copper Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau cigar box

Up for sale is an extremely high quality vintage handmade Arts and Crafts cigar box. It’s made out of a hand carved mahogany base and completely embellished with ornate Arts and Crafts detailing throughout. The box has very thick forged steel sides with copper appliqués and hardware all held with exquisite brass riveting. It has elaborate pivoting handles on each side made of brass and copper mounts and a hinged lock on the face. The box opens on a hinge and is lined with a thick stainless steel lining. It’s in exquisite condition and is extremely heavy. Measures 13 inches long by 8 1/2 inches wide by 5 7/8 inches tall. It may have has a removable shelf inside.
