Antique 1700’s handmade salt glazed stoneware pewter pottery tobacco jar humidor

Up for sale is a very rare antique 18th century handmade stoneware and pewter tobacco jar. The jar is sculpted out of thick brown salt glazed pottery walls and has very dimensional floral detailing. It’s mounted with a pewter collar and threaded lid, there is also a removable pewter lid that sits recessed inside the thread. It is in nice condition and measures 4 5/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide. There are two small edge chips on the bottom edge as shown in last photo. Thank you for visiting “Dusty Treasures ” and please feel free to browse through. Vintage Wood Cigar Humidor

A Very nice solid Wood Cigar Humidor. Looks to be Oak? (look at pictures to determine for yourself). A wonderful old piece, that has a key.. The lock works and at present you have to pull on the key once unlocked to slide open the Humidor.. The front handle is missing and I will leave replacement to the new owner.. Built in Match holder and striker.. Also has the sponge dish, but no sponge.. The Humidor has lovely Silver plated triangle filigree’s.. One of the nicest and classiest Humidor I have ever seen..
