Up for sale is a rare handmade antique 19th century ornate terra-cotta tobacco jar. It’s made with intricate floral detailing and hobnail trim with a lovely removable lid that sits recessed into the base. The design is done in high relief and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It’s in nice used condition and measures 7 3/4 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide. The finial was repaired at the collar and there are a couple small edge chips as shown in last photos.
