Up for sale is a nice quality antique 19th century handmade tobacco humidor box. It is made by hand and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The box is has an insignia plate on the top and is lined with a milk glass. It also has the humidor attachment for keeping the contents fresh. It’s in nice antique condition and measures 12 1/2 inches long 8 3/4 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall. It is missing the key. A fine quality Alfred Dunhill London walnut cigar humidor with key. Fitted air tight interior, cedar lined with moveable divider and inlaid maker’s mark on inside of lid. Measures 35cm L x 22cm D x 15cm H. Externally there are some light scratches and scuffs (particularly on the beautifully grained top) and it could do with a polish. Vintage humidor 100% precious wood, amazing workmanship and quality

Superb fit and finish. I could not believe this level of craftsmanship still exists. Item is circa 1970-80. No defects or issues, lock and key all works. Humidification sponge have been replaced. I have not tested the meter. No cracks or warping in the wood. Hairline superficial cosmetic scratches are present but only visible under certain light or angle. Excellent presentation and condition. See pictures and ask questions. All traditional cabinet making that could be seen on the corners of the box. Constructed the old fashioned way. Fit and finish is so precise that you can hardly see any seems between the wood panels. Even back hinges are made of one piece of wood.
