It is German, carved from wood to look like tree bark, and decorated with roebuck stag antler. 3 antler rosettes, one carved in relief showing a hunting dog. Inside shows a divided compartment. Dating to circa 1880. MEASURES: 9 7/8″ total height, 5 1/2″ to top of box, 11 1/2″ total width, 7 1/8″ deep. Good used condition showing great patina. A nail shows at the back of the lid and we see two chips just in front of the hinges. Inspect all photos to complete condition detail.
