Please take a moment to read the description, condition and browse the photos. A very neat antique store advertising countertop humidor for De Nobili Cigars. It is made of lithographed tin with golden background and features advertising on all sides. It has a hinged glass top with tapered design, perfect for viewing on a countertop in a general store. It is all original and untouched and is fresh from a Massachusetts estate. Measures; 13″ deep x 7 3/4″ long x 7 tall. Some wear to the lithograph advertising, front panel with minor amount of corrosion, glass is in fine condition as well as hinge which works perfectly. A Rare And Very Unusual Combination – Top Level is a A. Abrahams Wood Cigar Storage & Vented Humidor – Bottom Level Is A Valley City, Smith & Shipman Wood Cigar Box. The top section, a vented humidor (6 7/8″ X 3 5/8″ X 3 1/8) has two applied wood stars and a paper label on top that reads Valley City. On the underside of the lid is a paper label that reads Manufactured from the best selected Havana Tobacco, A. 121 East Fayette Street, Syracuse. The lid has a cloth hinge that is loose & ripping. The bottom section (8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ x 3 1/8) has a paper label under the lid that reads Manufactured expressly for Valley City, Smith & Shipman, 45 Pearl Street, Grand Rapids, Mich. The bottom lid has a cloth hinge that is in good condition. Both labels show some wear. On the bottom of the box is printed WN Trumble & Co. Both sections have the same thin wire hook and eye as closures. This unusual combination (never saw one before) is in very good condition for it’s age showing only minor wear and built up dust to the outside and some wear to the labels on the insides. I couldn’t find any additional information on the names printed on the two labels. We are a Multi-Dealer shop listed on Facebook.
