Is this very interesting jewelry casket or cigar box. The front depicts a scene from the Battle of Lyndanisse, during the Estonian Crusade of King Valdemar II of Denmark. It has bale handles, and rest on 4 ball feet. The lid interior is inscribed as shown, and this box is marked on the back, “Iron Art Copenhagen Denmark”. It has an interior cedar lining, and was probably made for cigars. Typical vintage patina and wear. No repairs or restoration.
