Here’s a beautiful yellow 1890s Double Eagle Cigars labeled 8 sided glass cigar jar from Theobald & Oppenheimer of Philadelphia…. Jar itself has no embossing, but colorful original label has picture of a double headed eagle & crown… REGISTERED BY THEOBALD & OPPENHEIMER CO…. Jar is early machine made… Smooth threaded collar with white painted tin lid… Excellent shiny near mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean jar with no haze. The Theobald & Oppenheimer Company founded in 1860 was one of the largest producers of hand rolled cigars in Philadelphia. They employed many women and minorities. From the estate of a retired 101st Airborne colonel; hasn’t smoked pipes or cigars in 10+ years; all one owner; many 30 – 60+ years old; well kept. GORGEOUS, NEAR MINT, and appears unused. Likely holds 100 plus cigars. Weighs almost 9 lbs. Measures 14 3/4″ wide x 7″ tall x 10 1/4 deep. Beautiful mohagany stained 1/2 cedar base, lift out tray, 2 filters with hygrometer. Brass handle on each side. Use as intended or an accent piece of furniture/storage for collectibles/jewelry/etc. Display, collect, use, re-purpose, or GIFT. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL MY LISTINGS. VINTAGE PIPE TOBACCO BOX. This is one of the Finest Tobacco Boxes I’ve had in several years. It has Two Lids with Brass Piano Hinges. They Open Wide so you can get your hand AND your pipe in the box at the same time. This makes it easy to fill and tamp your bowl without spilling tobacco in your office or lounge. The wood looks like it’s probably pecan. The Tobacco Box is 8″ X 11″ X 5 1/2 deep. It is from an Italian Immigrant’s Estate. The pipe in one of the photos is to show the size of the box and it’s NOT included in the sale. Nor is the tobacco. New Mexico Trading Co.

Hello, up for sale is a stunning antiques cigar cigarette box. Beautiful box made solid cast bronze and lined with wooden panels inside. Hinged lid box with Imperial Russian motif, double head eagle with Imperial symbols. Allover decorated with organic ornaments grapes, vines and paradise birds symbol of galore. The box is artist signed in Cyrillic with embossed letterings AB on the lid edge. Very good preserved box with mellow patina on bronze. Found at estate sale in Paris. Condition: original as is on photos. Please, be sure to view all photos carefully as they are included as part of the item description. Measures: 6.25” l x 4” w x 2.25”h.
