Up for sale is a very nice quality antique Japanese Imari pottery tobacco/biscuit jar. The jar has a very detailed hand painted traditional Imari floral design with embossed cross hatching. It is mounted with a nickel plated. Collar, a finial topped removable lid, and an ornate pivoting handle. In nice antique condition, has acquired a lovely patina from age, and measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall without measuring handle. It is mounted with a nickel-plated pivoting handle, a badge on the face, and a removable lid. The inside is lined with thick white porcelain bucket and also has a high gloss finish.
