This is a well used humidor. There are some wear marks on both the inside and out. The humidor was reconditioned with a New Cedar inside by Daniel Marshall around 2004. Thus the original number is gone. Replaced by a small plaque. Inspect the flaws before purchasing. But I know as a fact that Daniel Marshall will provide a replacement. Hello, up for sale is a stunning Vtg cigar humidor wooden box. Beautiful box made of precious wood and finished in satin lacquer. Hinged lid with mounted on top sterling silver sailboat. Abstract boat figurine partially gilded and marked 925 for sterling silver. No maker’s mark but unmistakable luxury-made box. The box is in excellent used condition with minor imperfection on upper right corner. Condition: original as is on photos. Superb fit and finish. I could not believe this level of craftsmanship still exists. Item is circa 1970-80. No defects or issues, lock and key all works. Humidification sponge have been replaced. I have not tested the meter. No cracks or warping in the wood. Hairline superficial cosmetic scratches are present but only visible under certain light or angle. Excellent presentation and condition. See pictures and ask questions. All traditional cabinet making that could be seen on the corners of the box. Constructed the old fashioned way. Fit and finish is so precise that you can hardly see any seems between the wood panels. Even back hinges are made of one piece of wood.
