Museum-Grade 1928 Art Deco A. Solid Brass Cigar Humidor Box. Featuring the Iconic Modernist Intaglio Etched Design “Sally” by Rockwell Kent. An exceptional and highly elusive piece of American Art Deco design history. Manufactured in 1928 by the renowned firm A. The graphic lid showcases Kent’s famous modernist work titled. Depicting a powerful, stylized, windblown female figure standing atop a mountain crest with outstretched arms against a dramatic, geometric sky. Features the original cursive A. Maker’s mark clearly stamped along the front beveled lip of the lid. Original Spanish Cedar Interior. The original wood-lined interior is fully intact and clean, historically designed to regulate moisture for fine cigars. The brass showcases a beautiful, authentic vintage golden patina with honest, light age-appropriate surface wear that highlights its nearly 100-year history. Excellent antique condition overall. The structural integrity is flawless with strong, tight rear hinges. The brass surfaces display minor age-appropriate scuffs, light surface scratches, and tiny lacquer blemishes consistent with its age and use. The cedar wood interior remains clean and structural. An untouched, unpolished example exactly as collectors prefer to find them. (Please review all high-resolution photos carefully as they form part of the condition description). Packed with extreme care in a heavy-duty box with-tracking.
