Scarce 1920s paper label Edwin’s 25 cigar humidor tin in excellent cond

This scarce 1920s paper label “Edwin’s” 25 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 4 3/8″, is in excellent condition with no rust or dents and some very minor paper chips and discoloration. The original wax paper liner remains in tact. There is also a paper label on the lid. This very attractive brown faux wood and black tin has detailed graphics. There is an extraordinary whimsical image of the Edwin Cigar Company Factory 327, 2nd District, NY with a huge “Lord Edwin cigar” poking out diagonally from behind the building. There is also a photograph of factory workers making the cigars by hand, as well as advertising for this tin of seconds/odd lots cigars. The Edwin Cigar Company manufactured 100,000 daily. This rare 1910s “Della Rocca” paper label humidor 25 cigar tin, measuring 5 1/4 x. 3 3/8 is in near mint condition with no rust, some very minor edge wear on the lid and one tiny tear at the top of the label. This very attractive, colorful with embossed lettering features a detailed portrait of Giacinta Della Rocca. She was a German violinist (born 1882) who studied in England and France and did several American tours playing works by American Composers. This scarce 1900s “Julia Marlowe” litho flat humidor hinged cigar tin, measuring 1 1/8″ x 4 7/8″ x 8 1/4, is in good condition with no dents or rust and some age related paint scratches and chips. This highly attractive multicolored tin features two images of the American actress Julia Marlowe, who was born Sarah Frances Frost in Kesick, England in 1865 and died in New York in 1950. Ms Marlowe was internationally known for her interpretations of Shakespeare. The detailed image on the exterior lid features her in the role of Juliet with possibly her husband E. This scarce 1910s paper label “Integrity” 25 cigar humidor tin, measuring. 4 3/4″ x 3″ x 3, is in excellent condition with no rust or dents and some age related paint chips on the lid. The paper label is in near mint condition with some spots of small loose paper areas along the very top edge of the lid. This very attractive yellow and blue tin features a lovely, detailed, framed portrait of a brunette woman whose head is leaning against the cheek of a white horse. The cigars were manufactured by the T. Snowden & Company, Atchison, KS. In Factory 117, District, KS. In 1917, the company employed 11 workers who hand rolled the cigars. The hinge is in excellent working order. This very attractive light brown, faux wood tin with gold and red lettering was made by the Federal Tin Company, Baltimore, MD. It features detailed, multicolored portraits of James and William Yokum, who founded the Yokum Brothers Cigar Makers, Reading, PA in 1879.
