Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century wooden cigar box. It’s made by hand out of a varnished oak wood and has thick brass appliqués on each corner and edge. The lid opens on hinges exposing the lovely reticulated metal interior and has a mechanism on the side that stops the lid from opening over 90 degrees. It also has a very detailed solid brass pivoting carry handle mounted to the top of the lid. It’s in very nice condition, has acquired a great patina from age and measures 12 inches long by 7 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall. It is missing the key for the locking.
