Vintage Alfred Dunhill Cigar Humidor burl wood inlaid copper, 12.25 X 10.5 X 5.5

This is a vintage Alfred Dunhill cigar humidor. There are no tags indicating the country of origin, but judging by its age, it was made in London. This humidor goes back decades, as indicated by the inlaid copper lining and inner lid. It’s a beautiful burl wood exterior, with Spanish cedar lined interior. Push button to open (sorry, no key to lock it). Felt lined on outside bottom. Piano hinge and side hinge. Copper lined top on the inside and around edges. Maker’s plaque is still affixed. Beautiful inside and out. Condition is pretty good, given its age. The finish on the outer burl wood is beginning to show its age, but there are no missing sections, just some gentle crackling. There’s a few scratches here and there on the exterior, consistent with gentle use. The interior is outstanding. No split wood or rotten wood. The copper is clean and shiny, with only a gentle patina in some areas. Please see the photos for a complete visual. I’d be happy to send additional photos of any areas you’d like to see. The outer dimensions are 12.25 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high. It’s a hefty thing, weighing in at just under 8 pounds. I answer all questions, and respond to all offers! Empty humidor box made from various wood veneers, inlaid and lacquer on the outside in an interesting pattern. The inside is lined with cedar to retain the moisture levels and there is a magnetic disc on the lid where a hygrometer could be attached. This is a small humidor which would make it ideal for traveling due to its compact nature. A great addition to any smoking room, man cave or bar area. This would make a great early holiday gift. MEASUREMENTS Wooden humidor measures 8.5″ wide by 8.5″ long by 4 deep weighs 3lbs. CONDITION In good condition and ready to use with a couple of light surface scratch scuff marks (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). WONDERFUL and RARE wooden inlaid old H. UPMANN luxury cigar Humidor/Box STUNNING

Hi and welcome to my listing for this simply stunning H. I’m guessing that with the level of craftsmanship displayed in the box construction that this was probably a commissioned piece. The humidor/box measures approx :- 30 cm long X 11 cm high X 19.5 cm deep. Internally 25.5 cm long X 7.7 cm high X 15.2 wide. The box is wooden with wonderful inlay work on the top it is inlaid with a beautiful H. The catch is metal with a knob that slides to the side to open the lid. Upmann branding is also stamped on the inside of the lid. The box looks to have some age to it and is in very good/excellent condition (just a very small section of inlay missing out of the pattern on the side of the box but difficult to see and in no way takes away from the presentation of the piece). This Exquisite GENTILI HUMIDOR is a hand crafted fine furniture quality, table-top model. Perfectly designed for the intended use of. Gracefully constructed to perfection by master cabinet makers using beautiful precious woods. Exterior of case has a lacquered, reflective finish. I have for sale a well-used antique wooden box. It has inlaid diamond designs, using fine grained woods. The top lid opens to a removable tray with five compartments. That has dovetail joint construction. The front of the box has a lock, but I don’t have the key for it. I believe it was made in United States, sometime in 19th century or earlier.
