The front pull handle allows the top lid to hinge backward, revealing the climate-controlled storage area inside The interior is solid Spanish Cedar. There is a channel inside the lid that creates a mechanical airtight compression seal when closed to lock in moisture. This is a tabletop model. On the exterior top lid. There is a scratch approximately 2 inches long. Which is visible when looking straight down on the humidor. (see photos displayed above). The humidor measures approximately 20″ x 14″ x 5.5.
