This antique ribbon mahogany cigar humidor on stand is in very good condition with no losses to the wood, stains, or damage. The humidor is portable, and is easily removed from the stand, which has a pull out shelf. The inset handles are brass as is the name plate which is monogrammed D. The box opens on piano quadrant hinges. The bottom and sides of the interior are a white, opaque glass, except for the front side which is the humidification / moisture source. The lid closes securely and makes a very good seal. The outside dimensions of the humidor measures 13 3/4″ by 11″ by 9 tall. The interior measurements of the humidor are 11 3/4″ wide, 8 3/4″ long, and 7 deep. The box and stand combined are 25 3/8″ tall with the stand being 14 1/2″ wide. I would estimate the humidor to hold 80 – 100 cigars, as it is comparable in size to a large desktop unit (see interior dimensions listed above). There are no maker’s marks on the humidor, but I believe it to be English, judging by the type of mahogany used, the brass fittings, and overall style of the piece.
