Considering that this Hermes silver, brass and mahogany cigarette box is nearly 60years old, it’s in tremendous condition. Generously sized, it’s quite a special piece. The intertwined double-serpent form on top is spectacular. Its textured top is engine-turned. We gave this a cursory exterior polish. It can quickly be polished to an even more regal shine. HERMES PARIS Made in France is stamped on the side. Additionally, there is another imprint stamped in between (please see photos). The mahogany wood-lined interior is gorgeous, and free of imperfections. Its removable dividers are tight and in place. And it’s generously sized at H. X W 8.75 in. X D 5.75 in.
