Ornate Brass Bronze Humidor Box Wooden Interior Agricultural Scenes Late 1800s. Presented is a stunning ornate humidor box. This piece is likely Continental European and was made in the late 1800s up until about 1910. The box has a great wooden interior with a wooden divider in the center of the box. This divider means this piece was probably used for cigarettes. The exterior of the box is likely brass or bronze. The metal displays different agricultural scenes on the lid and all four sides. The scenes show many people working with wheat, grapes, at water’s edge, and other vines and each have a beaded boarder. There are vines also boarding the scene on the lid. On the back side of the box, there is an “ES” marked in each of the two watering cans. This may be a maker’s mark. The underside is marked with the letter R. The box is a heavy weight and would make an excellent statement piece in any room. This piece is in good condition. The box has a slight wobble and there is some discoloration in the metal. The wooden interior is firm and clean. This piece is ready for use. There are no breaks or repairs. Measurements: 7 3/4 x 6 x 3 1/4 inches Interior per compartment: 5 1/8 x 3 3/8 x 2 1/2 inches. Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Antique English Figurative Glazed Tobacco Jar TG Hunt Clifton 1878 Round House. DESCRIPTION Vintage 19th century English pottery humidor. This tobacco jar dates to about 1880 and commemorates the round house at Clifton being built in 1878. The jar is designed as a round tower which was known as a folly. The main body has 2 windows and a door and the lid round roof has a widows peak and 4 chimneys. Beautifully glazed over muted colors this finely made tobacco jar is simply marked with a label underneath which may be a shake number or inventory number from someones collection. Label underneath: #5521 This would be a great addition to any English pottery, humidor or figurative collection for a desk or a kitchen for herbs. A great addition to your antique home decor or the perfect housewarming gift idea. MEASUREMENTS Humidor measures 8.25″ tall by 5.5″ wide by 5.5 deep and weighs 3lb 3oz. Antique Bisque Tobacco Humidor depicting Frederick the Great Bust King PT

A rare, figural painted bisque humidor or dresser jar depicting the Prussian King – Frederick the Great (or Friedrich der Grosse). A full bust with shoulders comprises the base of the jar. A tricorn hat forms the lid. Ruling from throughout the middle part of the 18th century, Frederick was the last King of Prussia and the longest reigning Hohenzollern kings. He was an enlightened Monarch, thought to have been homosexual, and eventually succeeded by his nephew, Frederick William II. Simply a wonderful figural humidor or jar! It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some firing flaws to the body, some light edge wear, some light scratches and losses to the painted decoration, some very fine and light glaze scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Here for your consideration is a VINTAGE, FABULOUS, EXTREMELY RARE, ART DECO CIGARETTE CASE, that has an awesome image of STYLISH WOMAN, WHO IS ON THE TENNIS COURT ABOUT TO HIT A BACKHAND. This amazing collectible of early TENNIS and TOBACCIANA is impressed, “Germany, ” on the inside. It appears to be hand-painted, is metal and measures 3 1/4 inches in height and 2 3/4 inches when closed. It also opens easily and snaps tightly closed. There is some oxidation to the metal frame and a small dent on the back. The original paint is intact and could use a light cleaning. Overall, this wonderful find is in very good vintage condition!
