A vintage bronze (or copper) humidor box. In overall good or better condition. Does have some tarnishing overall and some finish wear. There is no medium in the lid to hold moisture. No apparent makers mark. Measures about 6 by 10″ and is about 3″ tall. Has a nice art nouveau styling. This is a rare find of an early cast bronze humidor with beautiful cedar lining. You can see the green hue of verdigris around the sides. The item is stamped 140 underneath. The box measures 6.5″ x 4.5″ x 3.25 and weighs 3.5 pounds. The cedar lining inside has a little play to it if you try to move it with your finger. I think not all of the pins that originally held this in place are still in tact. This is a great find for those who collect antique humidors and boxes.

Highly detailed plated silver cigar humidor, with repoussé floral motif. Rectangular heavy box with two figural hunting dogs in bronze on the hinged lid. Inside compartments are missing, lined in red fabric. Made by Wilcox Silver Plate Company Meriden Connecticut. It is stamped on bottom with all this information along with the numbers: 7702 1/2. The Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Was formed in Meriden, Connecticut. From 1865 to 1867, it was known as the Wilcox Brittania Co. In 1898, the company was acquired by the International Silver Company. 7.25x 6 x 3.
