VINTAGE PIPE TOBACCO BOX. This is one of the Finest Tobacco Boxes I’ve had in several years. It has Two Lids with Brass Piano Hinges. They Open Wide so you can get your hand AND your pipe in the box at the same time. This makes it easy to fill and tamp your bowl without spilling tobacco in your office or lounge. The wood looks like pecan. The Tobacco Box is 8″ X 11″ X 5 1/2 deep. It is from an Italian Immigrant’s Estate. Antique Bisque Tobacco Humidor depicting Frederick the Great Bust King PT

A rare, figural painted bisque humidor or dresser jar depicting the Prussian King – Frederick the Great (or Friedrich der Grosse). A full bust with shoulders comprises the base of the jar. A tricorn hat forms the lid. Ruling from throughout the middle part of the 18th century, Frederick was the last King of Prussia and the longest reigning Hohenzollern kings. He was an enlightened Monarch, thought to have been homosexual, and eventually succeeded by his nephew, Frederick William II. Simply a wonderful figural humidor or jar! It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some firing flaws to the body, some light edge wear, some light scratches and losses to the painted decoration, some very fine and light glaze scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Vintage, RARE! Tobacco Humidor by WELBECK Made in England EUC

This Welbeck humidor is very rare and in excellent condition. There aren’t any cracks or chips and the rubber gasket is still soft and pliable, providing an excellent seal for your smoking products. It is absolutely lovely, making for a nice decorative item as well as being practical.. This will NOT disappoint. It would make an excellent gift, for yourself or your favorite smoking enthusiast! It’s a very solid 3 lbs+, about 5″ tall and about 6″ in diameter. I have acquired a huge inventory of fabulous items, so have a look and then check back regularly.
