Mahogany Milk Glass Humidor Vintage Antique Cigar Box Wood 19-1125

We have for sale a rectangle shape wood humidor box that I believe is made out of mahogany. This is vintage and came from a nice clean estate sale. The inside is lined with milk glass and is not cracked or chipped. The hinges work properly. Unfortunately we do not have the key for this. I really dont believe it would be difficult to find a skeleton key to work. This is vintage and shows the usual vintage wear that one should expect of an antique humidor. The overall outside dimensions with the lid closed are 11-3/4 x 8 x 4-3/4. Not exactly sure why it has the vintage fragile sign on the milk glass. I guess milk glass is fragile, but Im not positive that that sign is original to the manufacture of the box. Whatever the case, I think its kind a cool! This box is not cheaply made and is well constructed. Please look at all pictures closely for details, thanks for looking! Vintage Large 1930s Wooden Mahogany Humidor Milk Glass Lined Wood Cigar Box

Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage Large 1930s Wooden Mahogany Humidor Milk Glass Lined Wood Cigar Box. DESCRIPTION Vintage large wooden mahogany humidor dating to the 1930’s and most likely British in origin. Lined internally with milk glass and a cedar ridge this large heavy mahogany cigar storage box retains its original sponge grill and inset brass handles. Complete with a working key, it locks securely. This would suit any cigar store or cigar collectors collection for both practical and aesthetic reasons. This could also be used to store dried flowers in as it had previously been used for. Unmarked but very similar to the old Benson and Hedges humidors and there are 4 small holes on the lid where the original makers or owners plaque would have been fixed. A fabulous addition to you vintage smoking room decor. MEASUREMENTS Humidor measures 19.5″ wide by 13.5″ deep by 13.25 tall and weighs 20lb 6oz. CONDITION This humidor is in good condition with no damage to the interior milk glass or filter. The outer wood shows a crack in the wood towards the bottom on the front. There is some damage to the wood at the edges, on the top, and throughout commensurate with age and use (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). This amazing hand carved mahogany humidor is unequaled in quality. From the E Kopriwa Co. Of Chicago it is the most high end hand made humidor they made dating to the early 1900s. It is lined with milk glass and has the Original Sponge! No issues with the sponge. There is NO key. Ive used this humidor and original sponge (only distilled water was used) for years with no issues. I have lined it with removable Spanish cedar to help maintain moisture. Antique Arts Crafts Quarter Sawn Dark Oak Milk Glass Lined Cigar Tobacco Humidor

This wonderful early 1900s humidor is crafted of richly figured quarter-sawn oak and retains worn, original dark finish overall. Measuring 4 ½ x 11 3/8 x 7 ¾ overall, it has good hinges and finely milled mahogany seals/moldings on the interior and boasts heavy milk glass lining with nickel plated trim. There is a perforated plate to soak with water to retain moisture inside and none of the glass is damaged. There is a tiny splinter loss lower left on the front of the box. Rare Antique Cross Wood Marquetry Milk Glass Lined Humidor with Key

Rare and fabulous Antique Wood Marquetry Milk Glass Lined Humidor Cigar Box. Beautiful variety of rich wood inlays and joining and comes complete with a working key and even a little leather pouch to keep the key in so it’s not lost. As to maker, a close examination reveals a tiny round brass tab on the center bottom of the back with the name, “Cross” on it (see photo). The box was found in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, and Cross Pen Company started in 1846 in nearby Rhode Island making gold and silver casings for pens and pencils but it’s a mystery it it was made in full or part them. There is a light oval area on the bottom that once appears to have had a sticker or plaque to identify it. Condition is excellent with caveat that a small portion of inner right side milk glass panel liner is missing (see photo) although doesn’t show when the box is open or affect functionality. The box is very rare, distinct, and probably from the late 1800s to 1920s. A quality raised brass applied initial (ENA) provides an extra measure of elegance. There is a number on the bottom, “214” and it is in an older style. Use this amazing box for cigars, teas, or treasures, originally designed to impress and bespeak class and prestige and it still does even more as a beautifully preserved relic from a gilded age. 12″ long, 8 1/8″ deep, 4 1/2 high. Pipe Humidor Paint Milk Glass ESA Three Guardsmen Bull Dogs Antique RARE Tobacco Hand Painted Milk Glass Humidor. Engraved with ESA on the top of the silverplate lid. This piece is AS IS. Has one large crack down the front and another smaller one on the side. Even so it is still very special and rare. Three dogs with I believe are bulldogs grace the front with Three Guardsmen written beneath. Maybe they are English Bull dogs. The lid is Rockford Silver P Co. 47 and Shows some scales and Also says Quadruple for Quadruple silver plate. 6 1/2 by 4 3/4 wide.
