This scarce 1910s “Old Peach Stogie” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 6″ x 4 1/2″ is in good condition with no rust, some denting and some age related paint scratches and chips. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. This very attractive, colorful green and red tin with gold lettering features the bold slogan “The Cigar that made the Nickel Famous”. The Stogie cigar, sometimes called a Cheroute. Was a cigar which was cheaper to manufacture because it had both ends cut. The cigars were manufactured in Factory 8, 11th District, OH.
