Antique European Leather Humidor C1900, Euro Crest, For Restoration, Exceptional

The value of this humidor is in the leather image that was created by craftsmen with exceedingly gifted hands. With a restoration, that seems simple enough to me, you would have something that would be destined to be handed down from father to son, perhaps for generations. Leather work is not exactly in my expertise. That said, what is here is of substantial aesthetic value. With restoration, it would have potential for substantial monetary value. The humidor measures: 10 1/4 inches wide, by 8 1/8 inches in depth, and 3 3/4 inches from the bottom to the top. There are 21 spaces for the thin style cigarellos. The large bottom tray has spaces for 7 cigars. There is room to stack them 3 rows high (21 cigars in all). The upper tray is for two cigarette packages. Antique Continental Inlaid Wooden Box Europe 19th Century

Antique Continental Inlaid Wooden Box – Europe – 19th Century. Probably dating from the later part of the 19th Century, a beautifully inlaid wooden tobacco? Each of the 24 panels are a work of art, with detailed marquetry inlay, depicting scenes of rural life, including peasants making pasta. Separate lid is well fitting. There is a lock keyhole on the side (no key) and box is unlocked. Interior shows openings for cigarettes or cigars, with a central container that can be raised for holding loose tobacco? Interior of lid is lined with rich, blue velvet, apparently original to the piece. Old cracks, chips and losses throughout. Please examine photos carefully for condition. Vintage mid 1990’s Handcrafted Wood Cigar Humidor. Custom made for Tobacco Traders Store in Marina Del Rey, California. Interior wood is contrasting to exterior wood. Exterior wood is grain’bookmatched’ on front and sides. Dovetailed Corners on outer box. Underside/bottom has felt fabric. Measurements approx: 8 1/2″ length 11 1/2″ width 3 1/4 height.
