Vintage Japanese Momento Mori Skull Humidor 1900s Great Shelf Piece Macabre Art. As you can see this is a cool piece but has some issues. There is a crack on the side making this not useable as a humidor. It was handcarved from wood, the snake body is a little loose but in tact. It is missing the toad for the handle on top. Overall a fantastic piece for your collection of oddities of the past!

There are some light scuff and scrapes on the box but overall it’s in good shape. The wooden insert and bottom are in good shape, the magnet on the inside of the lid is firmly attached and you can easily put the Calabresi on and off of it. The silver-plated cigar holder is in good shape with a spot or two wear the silver coating has flaked. The cigar holder opens and closes tightly and is spring-loaded. The bottom of the box is missing one plastic foot and some of the others have shifted. The cigar cutter is brand new in the plastic. The Calabresi is in good used condition but may need replacing. The plastic cover over the hydrometer can easily be taken off and put back on. Please carefully review the photos, as they serve as an extension of this description.
