This rare 1910s “Andrew Pickens” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 3/8″ x 5″, is in very good condition with a few small dents, a few small interior superficial rust spots and some very minor age related paint scratches and chips. This very attractive multicolored tin was made by the Liberty Can Company, Lancaster, PA. The cigars were manufactured in Factory 1289, 1st District, PA. This rare 1920s “Segundos” litho 50 cigar humidor tin. Measuring 4 5/8″ x 5 1/2″, is in very good condition with no rust, a few dimple dents and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. Most of the original high gloss remains. This striking, colorful, white, red and orange tin was made by the Continental Can Company, Baltimore, MD. It features advertising for the “Segundos” cigar brand. The cigars were manufactured by Cuesta, Rey & Company, Tampa, FL in Factory 55. Angel La Madrid Custa & Peregrino Rey founded the company in Tampa in 1884 and made cigars “Clear Havana” cigars of Cuban tobacco. This rare 1910s litho “Dutch Maid” humidor 25 cigar tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 3 3/8″ x 3 1/8 x is in very good condition no rust, a few tiny dents and some age related paint scratches and discoloration. Much of the original high gloss remains as does the wax paper inner liner. This very attractive bright yellow tin with red and black lettering features an image of a Pennsylvania Dutch woman wearing traditional garb. She is in full stride grasping a stick in apparent pursuit of someone or something she is about to beat, thus illustrating the “Dutch Maid” cigar slogan “Beats Them All”. This rare early 1900s embossed litho “Pippins” humidor 25 cigar tin, measuring 5 3/8″ x 3″ is in very good condition with no rust, a tiny dent, and some minor age related paint scrapes and chips. This very attractive embossed apple green tin features an appealing image of a red apple resting on top of crossed cigars. The cigars were manufactured by Richard Traiser & Company, Boston, MA. In Factory 301, District of MA. In 1908, the Traiser Company was the largest union cigar factory, manufacturing 60 million cigars. Louis Brandeis was the attorney for the company helping to resolve various union controversies.
