It is made of solid walnut, and features 3 humidors of different sizes, each topper with a top carved with tobacco leaves. There is also an ash tray, and a match holder. The stand comprises 9 pieces when disassembled, and several of them are signed with the artist’s mark. In my many years of antiquing, I have not seen a smoker’s stand of comparable quality. The piece stands 32″ tall, and 19″ wide. It is in excellent condition with one concern: there is a crack is the central humidor that occurred from the normal drying of the wood. Also, new dowel rods were added to the ashtray and match holder, so they fit more snugly. Otherwise, the piece is free of chips, cracks, missing pieces or scratches. A truly marvelous piece.
