Antique Black Americana Black Face String Holder

Black Americana string holder in the form of a childs head with a baseball cap. This bisque string holder features a young black boy with piercing eyes and full red lips and black hair. His cap is removable to place the string inside, there is a hole to the right side of his lips where the string comes thru. There are no visable makers’ marks but the underside of the cap has an orange “70” and the bottom inside of the head has a “50”. This may be German made and may have originally been a humidor. 8″h to top of cap, 5.5″w from ear to ear and 5.5 deep. He is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or fractures. Hazel Atlas Glass Jar Humidor Canister with Copper Lid on Swinging Metal Stand VTG

Vintage Glass Tobacco Humidor on Metal Stand. Hazel Atlas Jar Canister with Copper Screw on Lid. Comes with original Swinging Metal Stand! V ery Rare item!! Could be used as a kitchen canister as well, in my opinion, to hold such items as coffee creamer packets, coffee, sugar, tea packets, etc. And, I’m assuming since it is made to keep tobacco fresh, it would also keep these other items fresher as well. It would definitely be a stylish way to keep them stored for sure! Would look beautiful in any den, kitchen, etc. Especially one that has vintage copper and glass décor! Over all, Very Good, Gently Used, Vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Wear consistent with age and use. Please see pictures for more details. When jar is inside the stand the item measures approximately 9 1/2″ tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid’s finial, 7 inches across from one side of the metal base to the other and 5 3/4″ wide. The glass canister (when it is outside the metal stand) measures approximately 8 3/8 tall from the bottom to the tip of the lid’s finial. Without the lid, the glass container measures approximately 5 1/4 tall. The square glass jar measures approximately 4 wide on all sides. See photos for more details.
