Antique 1920 Walnut Smoker Cabinet Humidor – Rare Full Copper Lining but in Rough Condition, read on. This 1920s walnut smoker cabinet humidor stand is a unique find with incredible character. Sourced directly from an 1800s farmhouse, it features an exceptionally rare interior. While other listings may put “copper” in the title, a close look at their pictures reveals they lack the extensive coverage found here. This cabinet is fully lined with genuine copper sheeting on all interior walls and across the inside of the door. Condition & Structural Notes. Unlevel Frame: The cabinet itself is not level, which is highly visible in the pictures. Uneven Top: The back-left corner sits higher instead of resting completely flat. Immediate Use: You can easily use it as-is by adding shims as levelers. Finish: It probably can do with a wood refinishing, or you can choose to leave it as is in the shape that it’s in. It does have wood chipped off as you can see in the pictures: look closely. Restoration Note: If you are an experienced restorer, then you are already aware of the restoration technique to wet and steam the wood under weighted pressure to get it sitting straight and flat again.
