Cushman Bennington Vermont Smoking Table Humidor 1900’s. Cushman started business in 1886 making hat racks and novelties in a shop east of the old stone gristmill on Prospect Street. This burned in 1889, was built up at once where business continued until 1892 when it was moved to the stone mill on. From novelties they turned to making Mission furniture, then smoker stands.
