Vintage Cushman Bennington VT Smoking Humidor Poker Stand Cigar Table

Cushman combination smoking stand, humidor and poker/game stand, made in North Bennington, Vermont. Beautiful walnut-finished hardwood construction with book-matched walnut veneer on the center door. The center cabinet opens to a metal-lined humidor compartment with a perforated panel inside the door. Both curved side compartments open to reveal fitted holders and vintage poker chips. The top has two recessed circular openings that likely originally held removable smoking accessories or ashtrays. These inserts are not included. Original Cushman paper label remains on the underside. 25 H including handle/rail. 22 H to top of cabinet. Good antique/vintage condition with age-related wear, marks and finish variations. Please review photos carefully for condition. A wonderful and unusual piece of Cushman smoking furniture, perfect for a collector of antique smoking accessories, poker memorabilia or vintage furniture.

Antique Cushman Cabinet Humidor Bennington, Vermont Brass Lined Original Finish

Offered is an original Cushman smoking cabinet/humidor made by Cushman Product, Bennington, Vermont. This handsome cabinet dates to the early 20th century and retains its original brass-lined humidor compartment, drawer, hardware, and factory label. The cabinet features beautifully turned legs, decorative carved trim, a spacious upper drawer for smoking accessories, and a large brass-lined lower compartment designed to help preserve tobacco. The warm original finish gives it outstanding character and displays decades of authentic patina. The original Cushman Product – Bennington, Vermont label is still present inside the cabinet, helping verify its authenticity. This is an excellent piece for a collector of antique smoking accessories, tobacco memorabilia, Arts & Crafts furniture, or anyone looking for a unique accent cabinet. The cabinet is structurally solid. The brass liner shows normal oxidation, scratches, and age-related wear consistent with decades of use. Antique Bennington Rockingham Humidor Tobacco Storage Jar Lady Head Handles

Solid antique Bennington Pottery with a rockingham glaze tobacco jar. Lid has and impressed B on the stoneware lid. Lady heads decorate the jar’s handles. One face has damage. See photos for condition. Jar is heavy weighing in at 5 pounds 8 ounces. My dad has had this for many, many years. Primitive collectors should be delighted with this.

Cushman Bennington Vermont Smoking Table Humidor 1900’s. Cushman started business in 1886 making hat racks and novelties in a shop east of the old stone gristmill on Prospect Street. This burned in 1889, was built up at once where business continued until 1892 when it was moved to the stone mill on. From novelties they turned to making Mission furniture, then smoker stands. Please see all pictures for normal use wear. It’s not my intention to omit any defect or flaw on my listings, I try to take pictures from every angle and zoom in on any imperfections that I see at the time of posting.
