Description and Condition: This man drinking while inside a beer barrel is a tremendous tobacco jar, with great presentation – very expressive. He appears to be wearing a suit and tie, and having a great time with his beer. Overall this antique tobacco jar is in very good condition! Only condition issues of note: there is a chip on the bottom rim of the figural lid (as shown in red), and some small color loss around the lid and jar rims. A prior owner put soft putty in two spots on the jar, which I imagine is to gently cushion and prevent the lid from sliding. The jar is fairly sizable in terms of circumference, I will update dimensions over the weekend. Height: 7.5 tall from bottom to top of head. Width: 5.5 at widest portion of barrel.
