Up for sale is this beautiful Daniel Marshall 2-Level Cigar Humidor-with Key, Humidity Unit, Dividers, & Magnets. Note there is a beautiful humidity measurement dial as well but does not appear to be working. Though it displays beautifully. Overall the condition is very nice but has a few minor scuffs, etc. Dimensions are 14″ x 10″ x 5 1/2.

Cigar Enthusiast Humidity Sensories System With Alarm Rare Collectible

This unit is cool. Hardly any of these were ever made despite the fact that they really do work. It’s called Cigar Sentry. The company that produced it was called Nuventions, Inc. The model number is: ECHATX. The FCC ID is: PETCSRXTX. The patent was issued June 7, 1999. The patent number is: 6157306. The patent expired December 5, 2000. As a result of this the company obviously didn’t make hardly any of these. I can tell you with certainty it had nothing to do with the product. Most likely a financial investment issue. This Cigar Sentry system was specifically designed for cigars. It has a predetermined moisture/humidity range. If it falls out of the range the sensor inside the container transmits an alarm signal to the outlet where Cigar Sentry is plugged in. The system within the container where the cigars are operates on 2 AA batteries. The operation of the sensor is intermittent to extend the service period of the power source within the container. The sensor is dimensioned to be conformably received in a cigar box for use in connection with the external alarm signaling device. One of the things I don’t know exactly is how far the signal will travel. I plugged it in several outlets. The furthest being about 20 feet.

It has been my personal humidor for my Cuban sticks. Holds humidity perfectly; makes the “hush” sound when you close lid! Well maintained given it’s around 15-20 years old. Holds 25-50 cigars depending on vitola. Couple small minor marks on surface top but no nicks, cracks, damage. Comes with original box & humidifier (personally use humidity pack instead of the included humidifier). This unique oval shaped humidor is created by skilled European artisans using traditional woodcrafting techniques. Featuring a removable tray and separate campartment of stainless steel to store a cutter, matches or lighter. Finished with 15 layers of hand polished lacquer, the mirror finish gives this humidor an elegant look and feel. The exquisite hand polished metal hardware was desinged specially for Zino Platinum and is produced in Palladium plated brass. Wooden humidor with padded lid, it comes with 2 humidity control blocks, and instructions, and two dividers. It comes complete with the key. There is a water stain on the lid, and some wrinkling inside the box lid. There is a little corrosion on the hinges (see photos) The padding on the back of the lid is coming loose.
