Vintage Reed & Barton Dimond Crown Cigar Humidor (Made with Cherrywood). L: 14 x W: 9.5 x H: 4.5. Found this beauty wrapped and stuffed in a box from my father. I think he totally forgot about this one. We moved a lot. I have no use for it so I want to sell it and find an appreciative new home. Its been well-kept and maintained. Its in great condition. I have included all of the pics allowed, including the 2 small scratches and 1 ring stain on the bottom of the box for full disclosure. Budweiser Logo Reed & Barton Diamond Crown Humidor

This is a Budweiser Logo, Diamond Crown Humidor made by Reed & Barton. It appears to be made of solid Cherry or Walnut stained a rich mahogany color. It has a Credo Hygrometer, Craftsman Bench Humidifier, cedar lining, and two removable cedar dividers. On the sides it has heavy brass handles and the lid is attached with high quality brass hinges which are tight and smooth. It is slightly used with no significant damage except for a dent on the back corner, some very tiny scratches, and a couple of very small dents on the front top edge. It is large and heavy being 15 inches long, 10.75 inches wide, 5.75 inches high and weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces. Diamond Crown Humidors are expensive and very highly regarded for their quality as are boxes made by Reed and Barton. This one is unusual even more for The “Budweiser, ” lettering etched on the lid. Credo Hygrometers are high quality and the Craftsman Bench Humidifier also appears to be of very high quality. Often Budweiser logo items are fairly common but we were unable to find another of these in our searchs so it cannot be too easily found. Certainly an unusual gift for that special person. We do not smoke cigars and we are not humidor experts but we do know a quality built wood box and this is certainly one. It would make a great addition to that man cave or den either as a humidor or as a very nice box for collections, knives, various treasures, etc. Plus the Budweiser logo would help remind someone that they are dying of thirst. ALL KINDS OF SMALLS AND LARGER ANTIQUES AND VINTAGE ITEMS. I HAVE SOME MORE GOLD AND SILVER TO LIST NOW. MOST ARE MARKED AS STERLING OR GOLD AND HAVE TESTED AS SUCH. ALSO, MOST OF THE SILVER HAS AT LEAST SOME TARNISH OR PATINA ON IT. I WILL LEAVE THE POLISHING TO THE TASTES OF THE NEW OWNER. THESE NEXT FEW LOTS ALL HAVE VINTAGE-TO-ANTIQUE SILVER GOODIES, INCLUDING SEVERAL STERLING SILVER (HEAVY) JEWELRY ITEMS, SHAVING BRUSHES etc. , PLUS A FEW SILVERPLATED COLLECTIBLES. I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE FIRST & ONLY HUMIDOR OF ITS TYPE, THAT I’VE EVER SEEN (MUCH LESS OFFERED). IT’S SIGNED “REED & BARTON” ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID, AND I BELIEVE IT’S EITHER’TRI’ OR’QUAD’ PLATED, BUT I HAVEN’T YET FOUND THAT MARK. IT LOOKS RIGHT FOR EITHER, AND IT HAS THE UPGRADED TYPE OF DETAILS THAT ARE NOT OFTEN FOUND ON “JUST” SILVERPLATED ITEMS. IN ANY CASE, I HAVEN’T FOUND ANY OF ITS BASE METAL SHOWING THRU, SO IT’S IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OVERALL, ESPECIALLY FOR A PIECE OF ITS AGE (& PROBABLE USE). HOWEVER, IT DOES HAVE A PRETTY LARGE DENT ON THE LID, JUST ABOVE THE RAZORBACK. 5.75 TALL x APPROX. 5.75 IN DIAMETER (BOTH MAX POINTS). I WILL GIVE MY BEST EFFORT TO GIVE YOU MY “BEST GUESS” ON THESE TYPES OF THINGS, GIVEN MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, BUT THEY ARE NOT GUARANTEES, AT ALL.
