Here we have an amazing Bernhard Bloch or Johann Maresch tobacco jar/humidor in the form of a playful Gnome on top of a toadstool engaging a slug crawling up the side. Fantastic detail with original patina. Numbered IV on the inside. Very good condition with some minor flaking and paint ware that, in my opinion, only adds to the character of this piece. A few chips on the inside rim of the base that do not show from the outside. Measure 8″ tall x 4-1/4″ in diameter. We try to offer great quality items in excellent condition. As the limited edition humidor for year 2000, Prometheus International, Inc. Produced 1,000 Fuente Fuente OpusX travel/desk-top humidors: Red Madrona (400), Amboyna (300), Yellow Eye Maple (100), Macassar (100) and Walnut (100). The humidors came with the limited edition crystal black lacquer Prometheus FFOX V cutter and 20 FFOX cigars in assorted sizes. They were all serial-numbered for the authenticity. One of the humidor buyers won a trip to Dominican Republic which included a tour of the Fuente factory and dinner with the Fuente family. Five humidors from the limited edition collection with the 331 FFOX cigars were auctioned at Christie’s New York at the end of 2000 for children’s charity. Produced 1,000 Fuente Fuente OpusX® travel/desk-top humidors. Alter Humidor sehr seltenes Stück mit Lithografien freistehend Gründerzeit

Freistehendes Möbel in 6 eckiger Form. An den Seiten mit Lithografien verziert, 2 x Blumenranken. Auf der Tür ein Segelschiff , eine Karavelle , vermutlich die Santa Maria. Der 6 eckige Korpus steht auf 2 Säulen die wiederum von 4 Füssen getragen werden. Frontseite nach unten runden Gründerzeit Applikationen das Bild ab. Bleche eingesetzt zur Regulierung des Raumklimas. An der Tür hängt ein Metallflies wohl zu Feutigkeitsspeicherung. Holz 1 a, Lackierung gut, teils etwas berieben, Kratzer auf der Deckplatte. Schloss nicht original , sollte wieder ein schöneres altes eingebaut werden. Sonst keine Schäden erkennbar! Zeitlich wohl um 1900 späte Gründerzeit , lege mich hier aber nicht fest. Platte 28 x 39 cm. Nehmen sie sich die Zeit die Detailfotos im Anschluss anzuschauen. Die Bilder sind Urheberrechtlich geschützt und unser Eigentum.
