Antique Dunhill Mahogany Airtight Cigar Humidor C1900

Super antique mahogany Dunhill “Airtight” cigar humidor. Made of mahogany with a lead weight in the lid to secure the top with a seal around the edge to keep it air tight. Has the white dot label on the underside of the lid with Dunhill’s full address and the patent number 11832/13. The lid has been turned out of one piece of wood. The base is lined with the original silver paper. One small split in the wood on the bottom section, this has been professionally glued and stabilised. It hold 4 or 4 1/2 inch cigars. Measures 5 inches 12.5 cm tall, 6 1/2 inches 16.5 cm wide and 6 inches 15.3 cm deep. Happy to answer questions. THe humidifier is filled with gel, and it is a very powerfull stuff – takes in a huge amount of water and lasts for a very long time. Mid-Century DUNHILL Butcher Block Humidor

Interesting butcher block form DUNHILL Humidor… 5.75″ x 5.75″ x 7 H with lid on. Very masculine looking piece in that square, block form. Marked on underside as shown DUNHILL British Crown Colony Hong Kong. Great condition inside and out. A little teak oil on that wood to make it pop is all it requires. There’s a small round sponge taped to the underside of the lid, so I suspect the original moisture apparatus is missing (see pic). Unique humidor by a top maker for a masculine interior.
