This rare 1920s litho “John Ruskin” humidor 25 cigar tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2, is in very good condition with no rust, some creasing on the upper edge and some minor age related paint scrapes. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. This very attractive light blue tin with gold and red lettering was made by the Liberty Can Company, Lancaster, PA. He was also a pioneering conservationist who foresaw the greenhouse effect. The cigars were manufactured by the I Lewis Cigar Manufacturing Company, Newark, NJ in Factory 1282, 5th District, NJ.
