An amazing addition to any collection this figural ceramic lidded box depicts a full body standing hooded cloaked monk figure holding a beer. A rich mottled mauve purple majolica glaze, hand painted. To the top of the hood, it is possible it was never fully glazed in manufacturing as it doesn’t read as a flaw.
