This old Sea Captain has lots of personality with his pipe. A very unique guy. He has a glossy finish. In good condition for his age, he has minor paint scuffs on the back of his hat and a little spot on his nose. No cracks or chips. Measures about 6 1/2″ tall and about 6″ diameter and about 4 1/2 front to back. Great gift for Dad or Granddad. This is a very old antique primitive Humidor box with mirrored underside and copper insert. From the early 19th Century. Humidor measures 9W x 5H x 5D. The exterior shows worn edges, scratches and possibly an old repair, please see photos. The mirror measures 7 3/4W x 4H and shows age related wear. The copper liner is 7 3/4W x 3 7/8D x 2H. A neat old tobacco jar. Not sure of the age. In overall good condition with a few mild chips. There are a few on the hat brim and his collar. There is a larger one on the underside of the lid, but it is not visible when the lid is on. Stands about 8 tall. Has a few embossed markings, no makers mark. Looks like the number 572 is stamped into the porcelain and 47 is written under the glazing. Not sure what they mean. Early Vintage Antique Glass Cigar Jar. 368 2nd District Wi. A scarce tobacco collectable item. There is also a number 50 on the bottom. In well used condition with some small chips along the top rim of the jar and inside of the cover rim. Still a great display piece. No other cracks in the glass or deep scratches just the chips on the top rim and inside lid rim. No chips on the bottom or sides. The front side has a oval area that would have had a paper label attached at one time. The glass has manufacture air bubbles in the glass in spots. Early classic smoking stand “A CUSHMAN SMOKER” No. Very nice all original. Period decoration on front. Mahogany stained on birch. Coppered metal lined (see pics). Two ashtray stands set into stand with 6 nickel cigar rests. And match holder – even still has the striker. The above pieces are secured into the table by period screws (original). # _46 on label (# is a little hard to read looks believe 546 from the Cushman Catalog). Very solid and clean some minor scuffing 3 small cup rings on top surface. No gouges or wood cracks. This handcrafted table dates to very early 20th century circa 1910. All period screws and hinges and latch. Original blue glass ashtrays (large center ashtray has been repaired) see pics. This unique rare smoking stand……. Measures 24-1/4″ to top of table about 30″ to top of handle. Independent ashtrays measure about 20-1/2 tall. Large ashtray (glass) 4-3/4 diameter. 2 small ashtrays 3-1/2 diameter. CUSHMAN was a Civil War Veteran who began making furniture beginning in 1892. This is one of his original design creations.
