You are looking at a VINTAGE DUNHILL HUMIDOR “BRITISH CROWN COLONY” HONG KONG VGUC. This great looking humidor is definitely a work of art. The wood has a parquet design in deep shades of walnut. Upon opening the humidor, the sweet smell of tobacco still lingers in this wonderful humidor. It measures approximately 7 1/8 x 5 3/4 x 5 3/4. This would be a great piece to adorn your office, den, or any room you choose. I got this beautiful piece at an estate sale from a wonderful couple who traveled the world. Man drinks in beer barrel Tobacco Humidor Jar Antique Johann Maresch

Man Drinking in beer barrel. German, Terra Cotta, figural. No text on this specimen. By: Johann Maresch ; circa 1890s. Description and Condition: This man drinking while inside a beer barrel is a tremendous tobacco jar, with great presentation – very expressive. He appears to be wearing a suit and tie, and having a great time with his beer. Overall this antique tobacco jar is in very good condition! Only condition issues of note: there is a chip on the bottom rim of the figural lid (as shown in red), and some small color loss around the lid and jar rims. A prior owner put soft putty in two spots on the jar, which I imagine is to gently cushion and prevent the lid from sliding. The jar is fairly sizable in terms of circumference, I will update dimensions over the weekend. Height: 7.5 tall from bottom to top of head. Width: 5.5 at widest portion of barrel. Faders Tobacconists Humidor Solid Walnut Man Cave, Den, or Cabin

This is a Fader’s Tobacconist Humidor made of solid walnut, solid maple, (we believe on the lid,) and lined with cedar. It is a beautiful humidor with a dovetail joints on the corners. A hygrometer and humidifier are attached to metal plates on the inside of the lid by magnets. It is in great condition with a few tiny scratches from careful use but no cracks, chips, dents, stains, or serious damage. It is uncommon to find humidors that are so well made of solid wood. Typical China made humidors are some cheap softwood veneer sprayed with multiple coats of lacquer. This one is very high qualiIty. It measures 12 inches long, 9.5 inches wide, five inches high, and weighs over 6 pounds. We love well crafted wooden boxes. Certainly, well made humidors are almost fairly considered works of art and this one is so well made. On the lid, the words, “Fader’s, tobacconist since 1891, ” are engraved into the solid wood, possibly by laser. There is a sticker inside from a company, Awards and More, from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, so we assume this humidor may have been presented to someone for some type of richly deserved recognition. We were unable to find another like it anywhere so it is fairly uncommon. Possibly someone knowledgeable about Fader’s Tobacconists may know what a find it is and appreciate it.
