Very Rare and Immaculate Vintage Leather Clad Wood Lined Cigar Humidor/Case, Cuban Cigar Company. Upmann is a Cuban brand of premium cigars established by banker Hermann Dietrich Upmann. In 1843, a German banker by the name of Hermann Dietrich Upmann landed in Havana. He was there to set up a business for a German import/export company. Along with establishing a banking business catering to dealers and. Manufacturers, Upmann bought a local cigar factory and the first H. Upmann cigar brand was born in 1844. Hermann worked until 1890 and was succeeded by his nephew, Heinrich. This piece is rare, and is in immaculate condition for its age. It is clad in leather and lined with cedar wood. There is a signature inside the lid. This piece is from approximately the late 1970’s and has been kept in excellent condition. Measurements: 8″ x 4″ x 5.5.
