NIPPON FOOTED HUMIDOR TOBACCO JAR with LID ANTIQUE HAND-PAINTED 3D MORIAGE HORSES

HUMIDOR / TOBACCO JAR WITH MATCHING LID. FOOTED JAR WITH 3D RELIEF HAND-PAINTED HORSE PATTERN AND RAISED ENAMEL MORIAGE TRIM. IT STANDS APPROXIMATELY 7-INCHES TALL WITH THE LID ATTACHED (or 5-INCHES TALL WITHOUT THE LID). THE DIAMETER AT IT’S WIDEST POINT IN ABOUT 4.75 INCHES. EXTREMELY RARE (POSSIBLY ONE-OF-A-KIND) PIECE! I’VE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT. THE INNER PART OF THE LID HAS ABOUT A 1-INCH WIDE AREA WHERE THE PORCELAIN IS CHIPPED AWAY PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. THIS AREA IS NOT VISIBLE WHEN THE LID IS ATTACHED TO THE JAR, SO IT DISPLAYS VERY NICELY. THE JAR IS IN ANTIQUE CONDITION. IT SHOWS SOME WEAR FROM USE & DISPLAY. A STABLE CRAZING CAN BE SEEN IN THE GLAZE THROUGHOUT THE INSIDE OF THE JAR, AS WELL AS THE INSIDE OF THE LID. THERE IS AN AIRTIGHT HAIRLINE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE JAR, WHICH CAN BE SEEN FROM INSIDE AND OUT. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS ITEM IS 100+ YEARS OLD. MOST (IF NOT ALL) CERAMIC / PORCELAIN TOBACCO JARS / HUMIDORS WHICH I HAVE SEEN FROM THIS ERA HAVE SOME OF THE SAME CONDITION ISSUES SIMILAR TO THE ONES WHICH THIS PIECE HAS. RARE Rockford Illinois Silver Plate Company Silver Plated Dog Glass Eyes Humidor

This vintage Rockford Illinois Silver Plate Company silver plated dog humidor is a great addition to any collector’s tobacciana collection. Made in the United States, this piece is not only functional but also a beautiful display item. The dog’s glass eyes add a unique touch to the piece, making it a standout among other antique and vintage humidors. It has a few condition issues such as the hinge missing from the back door that the dogs sit on. It is also missing the nut that would have kept that lid closed. It is 6 3/8″ long by 5 1/2″ wide. It stands approximately 5 7/8 tall measuring from the surface it is sat on to the top of the dog’s ears. Both dogs still have their glass eyes. Please see photos to judge the condition for yourself.

Vintage Smoke Stand With Eagle Ash Trays & Humidor Cabinet – Cushman Vermont GUC. Good used condition wooden furniture piece. Smoke stand or end table style small tall table. Antique table with eagle ash trays. Cigar rest on end of table shelf. Missing rest on one end. This is a great piece as is. Has signs of wear and use. Worn label on bottom reads Cushman Manufacturing Co. Table top is approximately 9.5 square. Ash trays shelf is approximately 13 wide. Table stands roughly 27 tall. Here is a wonderful Old Tobacco Jar with lid. Made by Conta & Bohme of porcelain bisque and hand painted. Great Black Americana piece. He is approx 5″ in diam and stands approx 5″ high. He is very clean inside. In Nice condition with minimal paint loss. No chips or cracks.
