1890s RARE LABELED DOUBLE EAGLE CIGARS THEOBALD & OPPENHEIMER PHILA YELLOW JAR

Here’s a beautiful yellow 1890s Double Eagle Cigars labeled 8 sided glass cigar jar from Theobald & Oppenheimer of Philadelphia…. Jar itself has no embossing, but colorful original label has picture of a double headed eagle & crown… REGISTERED BY THEOBALD & OPPENHEIMER CO…. Jar is early machine made… Smooth threaded collar with white painted tin lid… Excellent shiny near mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean jar with no haze. The Theobald & Oppenheimer Company founded in 1860 was one of the largest producers of hand rolled cigars in Philadelphia. They employed many women and minorities. Solid Walnut, not veneer, aromatic Cedar lining with a Felt bottom and comes ready with a Humidifier Puck & Hydrometer Gauge. This Beauty is Solid Walnut with a gorgeous smooth piano finish, with Zero damage, no Dents, Scuffing or Missing pieces. Cedar lining is fully intact and smells wonderful. The Passive Humidifier Puck, is precision fit, easily removable, and filled with Distilled water and just as easily reinstalled. The Hydrometer Gauge is magnetic. Felt bottom to protect surface. Holds approximately 80 cigars, depending on gauge. Dimensions: 11 1/4″ long x 8 1/8″ wide x 2 7/8 tall. Weight: 3 lbs 3 oz.

Old vintage solid wood humidor cabinet table, copper lined. Painted white and sage green later on, knob is a later addition as well. It is 28 3/8″ tall, 13 3/4″ wide, and 11 3/4 depth. Weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. It is missing the latch hardware on the door so the door does not shut all the way nor latch shut. Missing copper liner on door. Please see pictures for details and condition.

EXTREMELY RARE c. 1900-1940 Copper 13 Humidor With Grizzly Bear Lid GERMAN

LARGE (13 INCHES TALL). This is a vintage tobacco humidor, likely from the early to mid-20th century, featuring a cast metal grizzly bear finial on the lid. The bear on top is sculpted in a Black Forest-style pose, standing upright with one paw raised. While true Black Forest pieces were hand-carved wood from Switzerland/Germany, many American and European manufacturers borrowed the same look and cast them in metal instead.
