Humidor Vintage Pipe Tobacco Box

VINTAGE PIPE TOBACCO BOX. This is one of the Finest Tobacco Boxes I’ve had in several years. It has Two Lids with Brass Piano Hinges. They Open Wide so you can get your hand AND your pipe in the box at the same time. This makes it easy to fill and tamp your bowl without spilling tobacco in your office or lounge. The wood looks like pecan. The Tobacco Box is 8″ X 11″ X 5 1/2 deep. It is from an Italian Immigrant’s Estate. Humidor with Indian scene pearlescent finish and lid France

This is a beautiful vintage porcelain humidor. It is made in France and features an Indian smoking a pipe on the side and the lid has a molded pipe. It is finished in a high gloss pearlescent color. It is marked on the bottom – France. The humidor is 6 1/2″ tall and 4 1/2″ across. Great condition – but please note that there is a broken section to the lip on the inside of the lid. Photos are part of my description. Do not discard boxes or packing material as this is required for presentation to the carrier. Payments must be made by Pay Pal. Humidor Match Holder Striker Man in Barrel Wearing Fez. Man wearing fez smoking a pipe popping out of barrel. Painted staves with message in French Bonheur De La Vie. The Happiness Of Life. The top of his fez is open so it would probably take matches and the top banded rim of the barrel is probably the strike surface. Late 19ht or Early 20th C. Measures: 6 3/4″ tall by 3 1/2″ across widest point by 3 1/2 deep Marked: see photo (only a number 4 on bottom, I would assume it is French) Condition: Very Good/Good (chips to rim).
