Antique Majolica Elephant Figural Tobacco Jar Humidor – 19th Century-RARE! These figural majolica animal tobacco jars were given out as promotional gifts at country fairs. Most were produced in small potteries in the Bohemia area of Austria and Germany and were not marked. This piece stands approximately 6 1/2″ in height and 5″ in width. A few spots appear to have been touched up. I have zoomed in on all imperfections and photographed them. Please review all photos.
