This listing is for an EPCO A. Spalding & Bros Rockwell Kent Art Deco Brass Etched Cigar Box from the 1920s. A fairly rare object displaying one of Kent’s finest graphic images. Brass body with intaglio etched lid; wood lining. The image depicts “Sally”, Kent’s wife. Designed in 1928 for A. 520 Fifth Avenue, and executed by Chase Brass. Spalding & Bros” on front rim and “EPCO on back rim. Is The East Prospect Cigar Company, Pennsylvania. Measures approximately 7-1/8″W x 5-1/2″D x 2H. Good overall vintage condition with slight toning of original finish very typical for this type of ware. Moderate wear and tear, but still has good years left.
