Antique L&c Austrian Seated Germanic Man Figural Tobacco Jar Humidor

This is for a large (11 inches tall, full bodied) antique Terra Cotta Pottery monotone tobacco jar humidor most likely from Austria/Germany. The jar features a seated (on a stump) Victorian Germanic man figure. There is a lot going on with this figure – he has a strange little monogramed (R) cap on his forehead – mustache and satisfied smile on his face – well dressed crossed legs with knee high boots – a sword (naval cutlas) in his left hand – a large covered stein labeled “MUNCHENER KINDL” on the ground on his right side – and two books titled “JOBSIADE” AND “HORAZ” on the ground on his left side – the humidor is marked with “L&C” on its bottom. The Munchener Kindl is a child of Munich – a prominant figure at Octoberfest in Munich (likely before 1890). Jobsiade and Horaz are poetry books. Who is this guy? What maker used the L&C mark?

Rare Pair of Man and Woman Conta & Boehme Porcelain Tobacco Jars Humidors. Two great and hard to find Tobacco Jars! Both are approx 8 1/2 tall. There is some paint loss and gold wear (see pics), the only chip I see is on the base part of the woman where the two pieces of her sleeve meet. Cartier RARE Antique Cigarettes Cigar Display Case. 100 Cigarette Space Mold. 12.5X3.5X3.75. Good used condition with damage. Top cover had a large split acroos the top. For sale is the most awesome Cigar or Tobacco Humidor I have ever owned. This piece is made in Austria and depicts a card playing or gambling scene. There is crazing in the porcelain bowl. Also there is a little fleck/nick where it exposes “white” around the outer lip of the humidor. Just look at intricate design with the cards and dice for a lid and piles for legs/feet.
