Absolutely incredible and rare 1900’s English BullDog Tobacco Container/Humidor with removable head as lid. Has “Tobacco” embossed across the front. Very nice condition with original paint still clear and evident. These antique pieces have variations from one to the other- with that said, the ears on this dog do not match, but they do not feel sharp like they were damaged and look complete. No other obvious signs of chips, cracks, crazing, etc. There is a piece of clear tape on body of item that looks as old as the piece itself. No evident damage is visible through the tape, but I elected to not try to remove it, nor did I make any attempt to clean this rare, antique item.
