Highly detailed plated silver cigar humidor, with repoussé floral motif. Rectangular heavy box with two figural hunting dogs in bronze on the hinged lid. Inside compartments are missing, lined in red fabric. Made by Wilcox Silver Plate Company Meriden Connecticut. It is stamped on bottom with all this information along with the numbers: 7702 1/2. The Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Was formed in Meriden, Connecticut. From 1865 to 1867, it was known as the Wilcox Brittania Co.
