This Antique 1890s Majolica Figural Humidor features a Black Man Smoking a Pipe on an oversized Pinecone. Overall this Humidor measures 6-¾ tall and 5-½ across measuring at its widest point. The greens, blues and browns on the Pinecone and the mans purple pants, Pink Cap, Blue Shoes and white stockings and shirt are very Vibrant and rich. All of these areas are a shiny glaze. The man’s Face, hair and hands are. On the very bottom of the unglazed base we believe there are the numbers 31 and 81149. There are some condition issues to consider when purchasing this Antique. There is a crack around the neck of the man on top and it appears to have been glued back together. Shows where there has been a repair on the lower half of his shin. There is a light chip on the toe of his shoe, on the same leg. There is black paint loss on areas of the man’s hair. There is spotting or discolorations inside of the bottom of the Pinecone.
